The Launching of the New E-OTA Card on the MSIG Mobile Application

Dear Valued Customers,

In our continuous commitment to enhancing our services and your experience with Overseas Travel Accident Insurance (OTA), we are proud to launch the E-OTA Card, accessible through the MSIG Mobile app. 
 

This innovation is driven by our commitment to enhance your experience as our valued customer. By transforming to an E-OTA Card, we aim to prevent misuse, improve security, simplify the process, and provide you with quicker access to updated services. Additionally, it reflects our environmental responsibility by reducing plastic usage.

It's important to note that the valid E-OTA Card is the one you presented directly from the MSIG Mobile app (as shown in the attached mock-up images). This is to ensure authenticity and security.

Please be aware that physical OTA cards will continue to be valid until their respective policy periods expire. However, we are gradually transitioning to exclusively using the E-OTA Card. The physical card  will remain functional during this transition period.

Starting on December 1, 2023, the E-OTA Card will be available through the MSIG Mobile app. Over a specific timeline, we will discontinue the distribution of physical cards.

Accessing the E-OTA Card is simple. Please follow these steps:

1. Download the MSIG Mobile app from your preferred app store.
2. Complete the user registration process.
3. Select the "OTA Card" option from the app's menu.

There is no change to the claim procedure. You only need to present your E-OTA Card to our clinic partners and provide personal identification.
